セキュリティとセーフティに関する研究領域は広く、学際的に行われています。このため、 この研究室ではセキュリティを「科学する」ことを目的とし、ICT（情報通信技術）だけで なく、電磁気学、応用物理学、心理学、社会学、教育学といったさまざまな分野の知識や 技術を効果的に取り入れることによって、セキュリティとセーフティに関する新しい技術 やシステムの研究開発を行います。安全・安心な社会を構築し、この世の中から不安をな くすために、皆さんと一緒に研究できることを楽しみにしています。
Secure and safe society is created by advanced security systems, law-based operations, and ethical activities. Based on this viewpoint, our laboratory discusses with variety of researchers and scientists from engineering, applied physics, education, and phycology and in developing more advanced security systems that focus on the "security scicence." The existence of the safety systems is crucial in order to have safe and secure daily life. A system where people with food allergies can enjoy eating out in restaurant. A system that can monitor solitary person at home 24/7. A system that can prevent injuries while operating machine tools. We are researching and developing such reliable systems.
