工学院大学工学部機械システム工学科 教授。東京都立大学大学院 工学系研究科 機械工学専攻 博士課程修了。2015〜2016年に Stanford University, Center for Design Research の Visiting Associate Professor としてデザイン思考の研究を行う。Professor, Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering, Kogakuin University. Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Tokyo Metropolitan University. Visiting Associate Professor at Stanford University's Center for Design Research (2015–2016).

主な研究内容：Human Centered Designに関する基礎研究、医療機器・ロボット・AGVなどの共同開発、デザインや創造性に関する基礎研究、AR・VRを用いた学習支援およびエンターテインメントへの応用。Research: fundamental studies on Human-Centered Design; joint development of medical devices, robots, and AGVs; research on design and creativity; AR/VR applications for learning support and entertainment.

人数：大学院生10名程度＋卒論生9名程度Members: approx. 10 graduate students + 9 undergraduate thesis students.

卒研生Undergraduate Students

インターフェースの基礎およびプロトタイピング技術を学びながら、卒業論文の執筆を行います。関連論文を読み、機械システムとデザインの専門性を身に付けます。Undergraduates write their theses while learning interface fundamentals and prototyping, building expertise in mechanical systems and design.

Grad

大学院生Graduate Students

卒業論文を基礎として、ACMやIEEEなどインターフェース・情報分野の国際会議での発表を目指して研究を行い、修士論文を執筆します。Graduate students aim to present at ACM/IEEE international conferences and write their master's theses.

デザインには多面的な視点が重要です。マーケティングやリスクマネジメントなど、異なる分野の学生とのゼミを定期的に開催しています。Design requires diverse perspectives. We regularly hold seminars with students from fields such as marketing and risk management.

Global

グローバルチームGlobal Team

海外の大学の研究者と共同研究を実施。Slack・Zoomでのミーティングや、実際の訪問による打ち合わせも行います。We conduct joint research with overseas universities via Slack/Zoom meetings and in-person visits.
